Sunrun is bringing renewable energy to those who need it most in Massechusetts

Sunrun is bringing renewable energy to those who need it most in Massachusetts.  In partnership with Resonant Energy , Sunrun is installing solar panels across 13 multifamily properties owned by South Boston Neighborhood Development Corporation (SBNDC), a non-profit provider of affordable housing for veterans, seniors, and Boston residents.  The solar installations will save SBNDC over $600,000 and generate in excess of 8 million kilowatt hours over 25 years.

This effort continues Sunrun’s commitment to build solar for multifamily affordable housing communities and marks an expansion of this effort in the state of Massachusetts.

Helping smaller nonprofit housing operators like @southbostonndc benefit from clean energy is a critical part of Sunrun’s and Resonant’s goals.

Congrats to South Boston Neighborhood Development Corporation  for  continuing its great work and commitment to resilient properties, resident well being, and strong communities!
